This little area contains some historically significant buildings, especially the very old soldiers' barracks. The regularly playing video is worth taking the time to watch since it contains some very informative historic details that provide insight on the settling of northern California.

We came here for our daughters mission project. It was very cool seeing the old places and how things were done back then. I love learning about the history and was able to get some photos for my daughters mission as well.

Had the friendliest volunteer tour guide who did a wonderful job and sharing some information you wouldn't know from the self guided tours. She even let us ring the Solano bell outside the front of the mission when the tour ended.
