Great location in the middle of town. Quiet and cozy rooms. Coffee and tea is available in the lobby in the mornings. Parking can be a little tricky but was fine on week days. Amenities and rooms were minimalistic yet charming. Can walk to many wine tasting rooms and restaurants. AC works well and views of the square are abundant.

I have stayed at the Sonoma Hotel many many times over the last 20 years or so, and every time I am glad I chose this hotel once again. It is full of charm, character, and a uniqueness you won’t find anywhere else. The staff is wonderful and kind, and the location can’t be beat. A stay at this iconic hotel will only enhance your experience of the real Sonoma.

Great location. Nice desk workers. The rooms are small which is expected in a historic building, but are very nice, cosy, and clean. Great water pressure and heat which can be a problem in older buildings. A/C was amazing which again can be a problem in older builds. However two things that really threw me off that I expect hotels to accommodate that were not. -WIFI DOES NOT WORK. The entire stay the wifi would conn…
